28 DAYS

- of audiovisual animation -

What started as a technical challenge, became a mediative practice to process the day's emotions through sound and light.

SUburbs Gallery Exhibition

28 DAYS was part of my solo exhibition at Suburbs Gallery in Montreal.

With the Suburbs Gallery.

Daily meditation through digital creation.

The process consisted of digital modelling, animating, rendering, recording/finding foley, making music, compositing and final export.

The key to producing a piece daily was setting up a workflow that used strict rules, like using 12fps, the same tempo, and the same camera setup. Yet allowing for experimentation and inspiration though the use of foley recordings and/or generative techniques.

Hopefully some of the mediative qualities came out through the work.

The collection of works have been minted on the Ethereum Blockchain. They can be viewed via their Foundation Drops page or YouTube Playlist.
